Baltic Beverages Holding (BBH) a joint venture between Carlsberg and Scottish & Newcastle used Outperform Network Analysis to evaluate the current capacity allocations in their supply chain network, including production, transportation and storage capacities.
Following the evaluation of several scenarios, BBH identified a number of them as promising business opportunities to be studied in detail in the upcoming months. BBH used Network Analysis version 2.1 supported by Demand Management version 1.2. Demand Management was used to generate the consensus estimates on future demand.
The power of this system is that it can do the holistic calculation for the business and support you in the detailed analysis of the results. Results are often controversial but the purpose of such studies is to challenge the business as usual.
