An average of 41,000 m³ of goods leave the approximately 100,000 m² logistics center in St. Pölten alone every month. In addition, each individual furniture store offers a range of more than 50,000 products, which is why the long-established company has a sophisticated supply chain management system. In order to be able to further expand its market-leading position in terms of merchandise availability and delivery service, even against the backdrop of dynamic growth, kika/Leiner is now introducing the MPD inventory management system throughout the company, thus relying on forward-looking and market-oriented demand planning.
