With Rijk Zwaan Australia, another 4 users have stepped on board for their daily job of demand forecasting and replenishment planning. Demand Planning is now supporting 38 users in The Netherlands (Benelux), Spain (including Morocco), France, Italy, UK, Germany RZ GmbH (covering Germany, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania), Poland, Portugal, Israel (managed by RZ Export) and Australia. Subsequent roll outs scheduled for July this year will be to RZ Export for South Korea, Greece, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan and Iran and to Hungary.

Sales planning at CALIDA, a long-established Swiss lingerie manufacturer, has become even more complex in recent years due to the increase in online retail. Nevertheless, the company has been able to rely on REMIRA’s TIA A3 sales planning software and successfully drive its omnichannel strategy forward. The decentralization of sales planning was a decisive step in this process.

Optimized warehouse stocks, improved product availability and a significant reduction in time-consuming tasks for employees have all been achieved thanks to the introduction of the LOGOMATE inventory management software at DURAL. After successfully implementing the program at all its international locations, DURAL is now able to ensure centralized, transparent coordination of all orders at its company headquarters in the German Westerwald region.

REMIRA is setting the course for future development of the company: On November 1, Dirk Bingler (48) will become the new CEO of the supply chain and omnichannel software expert headquartered in Dortmund. The previous CEO Stephan Unser (62) moves to the top of the REMIRA Advisory Board as Chairman, where he will support management in Germany and Italy in the further expansion of REMIRA.

Balancing demand and supply: True to this motto, Walbusch Walter Busch GmbH & Co. KG has chosen REMIRA TIA A3 Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) as their planning solution. The previous system landscape hardly met the requirements of the fashion company. In the future, the Walbusch Group wants to use TIA A3 to harmonize and ideally support the processes for the central procurement of all brands.

REMIRA is further expanding its market position in Europe with two additional acquisitions in Italy. The companies Optisoft S.r.l. and Gea Soft S.r.l. are now part of REMIRA and expand the product range with their software solutions for travel management systems, customs administration, shift planning, quality control, production planning and streamlining of business processes.

Best-before dates, seasonalities and demand determination: The challenges in the food industry are high. To master them successfully, Backshop Tiefkühl GmbH has been relying on REMIRA LOGOMATE since the middle of 2022. The inventory management software enables the company to determine and forecast the demand for all articles in order to avoid out-of-stock situations as well as to reduce the replenishment effort through automated processes.

Efficiency, structure and standardization of processes in the warehouse: The direction of travel for the fabric expert Hemmers Itex was clear. In 2020, the wholesale company from Nordhorn decided to introduce a warehouse management system to minimize warehouse throughput times and thereby improve delivery times. The choice fell on DILOS, the proven warehouse management system of the software provider REMIRA. By using the WMS, Hemmer Itex was able to improve delivery time and delivery quality by 40%, among other things, and halve the error rate in order picking.   

To ensure that there is no "fire" in the warehouse, the Gemeinschaft Feuerwehrfachhandel Deutschland (gfd®) has been relying on the REMIRA DILOS warehouse management system since March 2021. With the help of the software, gfd was able to map its multi-level logistics concept with picking and reserve warehouse. In addition, the picking process and resource planning were made more structured and transparent.
