Following an intensive selection process in May and June, Rijk Zwaan has selected Outperform Demand Planning to support the Sales Planning and Replenishment planning process worldwide. The project will deliver a tighter link between developments in the market and the Rijk Zwaan planning and supply operations.
The project scope involves all local logistical coordination centers worldwide, the sales representatives and the central logistical coordination center in De Lier. The system and revised business processes will be rolled out to 100 users spread over 20 countries across the globe.
The project kick off was held on 5 September. System validation is planned for November 2008, integrated testing for January 2009 and roll out to the first two countries will be completed by July 2009.
