More than 600 installations with around 200 customers worldwide – The anniversary balance sheet of REMIRA is impressive. Launched in 1994 with a handful of employees, the Bochum-based statistics and AI expert is now one of the leading providers of intelligent inventory management and scheduling solutions. The REMIRA celebrates its birthday at the traditional customer day “Kings of Stock”, which this time takes place on November 7th in Dortmunder U and is under the motto “Transformation”. Among other things, REMIRA reviews 25 years of company history – and has a firm eye on the future.
In 1994, with the development of LOGOMATE, REMIRA laid the foundation for the growth course that continues to this day: For a quarter of a century now, the Bochum-based company has been offering its customers intelligent IT solutions for optimizing inventory management as well as sustainable improvement of sales planning and scheduling in industry and trade.
Over the past 25 years, REMIRA has helped numerous renowned customers achieve optimal inventory, greater efficiency and higher yields. Over the years, the range of services offered by the medium-sized company has been continuously expanded: Today, it extends from consulting to inventory analysis, software integration and training to support. The precise sales forecast in LOGOMATE is based on smart algorithms that optimize themselves in a self-learning way. One of the highlights of the development activity is the change of technology in 2016, with which REMIRA responded to increasing customer demands for the processing of ever larger data volumes and higher computing power. Even with more than 50 million articles, optimal results are achieved every day. Another milestone in the software manufacturer’s history is the new headquarters in Dortmund. REMIRA is investing in the new office ensemble Phoenixwerk in Dortmund. The building complex is located in the middle of the historic Phoenix West area, where steel was produced until a few years ago. Once completed, REMIRA will move into a total of 2,500m2 of office space there. In addition, REMIRA recently acquired inventory specialist Stat Control and has become part of a strong, expanding group of companies. In addition to REMIRA GmbH, the recently founded REMIRA Group also includes LOG:IT GmbH and TIA A3 Forecast GmbH.
So REMIRA has every reason to celebrate. The perfect setting for this is the exclusive Kings of Stock customer day on 7 November. In line with the motto “transformation”, the IT-Company spans a line from the past into the new decade in the starting blocks and gives an exciting insight into current topics, trends and future developments around inventory management.
